For those of you who identify themselves as bookworms and never cease to learn more about atheism, the Book Club at Atheist Republic will serve as a great place to find new and refreshing recommendations of the same.
When debating in Christian-run forums, you will, in most cases, be constrained by the need to be ultra-polite in order to avoid being kicked out. Debate Room Atheism is a boundless subject and while some atheists may be very lax about their beliefs, some others may aim to achieve certain objectives.
Of course, a firums degree of politeness is desirable even in the non-Christian-run forums, if you want the Christians there to listen to you at all. Unless otherwise noted, the owners appear to be atheists. The Debate Room at Atheist Republic is a forum that urges people from both ends of the spectrum and even those in between to have healthy interactions, exchange opinions and participate in debates about any topic.
If you choose to debate with Christians, either online or in person, please share with us both your triumphs and your frustations in my counter-evangelism group -- which is, itself, NOT a place to debate with Christians but rather a place to talk about counter-evangelism strategies. This group Cyristian out as a joke but turned into a serious debate forum.
Just as devout believers have their own Cristian and agendas, unswerving non-believers have their own. Other lists of links to inter-religion debate forums If you're a non-Christian, it's probably best to get your initial practice in the forums that are obviously run by non-Christians, where you will be freer to speak your mind than in forums run by Christians.
